US M1860 STAFF & FIELD. A standard M1860 w/ a presentation on the scabbard. Blade is marked OEHM & Co.

Blade is etched over 1/2 its length w/ various patriotic & foliate motifs. Gilded brass mounted plated scabbard.

Rittenhouse Aid-de-camp Department of Maryland. CONDITION: blade has a medium gray slightly mottled patina. Hilt retains 40% original gilding. Grip & wire are complete.

Scabbard shows wear & loss of plating to the body. Engraving is worn but easily legible.
