RARE! Civil War Era FLEAM lancet BLEEDER in ORIG. CASE marked GUILD 895 U. S. A
Found with many CIVIL WAR ERA ITEMS and can only assume... This WAS used during the CIVIL WAR.. It was called a FLEAM, used as a Lancet Bleeder (bloodletting tool) by a medical Surgeon or used for animals by the Veterinarian. This one is nicely and boldly marked.
The "family" used it on Old Grandpa, too! Maker signed -- GUILD #895 MODEL and still in the original Circle-Diamond little sheath holder..
