Rare W. H. Horstmann USMC Marine Civil War Foot Officers Sword + Scabbard NICE

THIS LISTING IS FOR A RARE CIVIL WAR W. MODEL 1850 OFFICER'S SWORD AND SCABBARD. THE BLADE IS ALMOST 28" AND OVERALL THE SWORD IS 33-1/2" BEAUTIFULLY ETCHED BOLD USMC ON THE BLADE AND IRON PROOF STAMP ON THE TOP SPINE.

THE GRIP WIRE IS LOOSE IN ONE SPOT BUT SOLID. THE SCABBARD IS STRONG BUT HAS SHRUNK OVER THE YEARS.
