This listing is for a nice looking CIVIL WAR SWORD M1940 In excellent condition. Comes from a 200 year old Pennsylvania farm estate. The family had owned the property for 10 generations, and now just one old woman was left. The sword came from a great great uncle of hers, and he had fought in the civil war...

This sword is just as found... Never cleaned or polished - but it looks like it would polish up nicely. The blade appears not sharpened, and with small dings from use. They sell reproductions of these for re in-actors...
