ish Civil War Republican Front Prints Book. A rare book of Republican Propaganda prints calle "Estampas de la Revolucion Espanola 19 Julio de 1936". The wire bound book contains 31 coloured prints by the artist Dinn about propaganda pictures of the Republican Forces, Militias and Medical Services. Loosely drawn and painted, the pictures have a vibrancy and dynamism far greater than photos. The book was produced for the Propaganda Offices of the CNT-FAI (National Workers Federation - Iberian Anarchist Federation).

The book was printed in Barcelona by Grafos (Collectivised Co), price 5 pesetas. The book was presented to Royal Navy Petty Officer C.

FORD of HMS Repulse, which was part of the International Naval Intervention and Protection Force. O Ford was a courier, probably with Naval Intelligence and a fellow companion on board was Lieutenant Ian Flemming of James Bond fame.

HMS Repulse was sunk in the Far East in 1941. O FORD survived and was taken to Singapore but he was later sunk again on HMS Naiad.
