Tiffany Chrysanthemum Shoe Horn Historic Civil War Owner Look

This unique item is a must-have for any collector of Civil War memorabilia. The Tiffany Chrysanthemum Shoe Horn Historic Civil War Owners is an original piece that dates back to the Civil War era. It was manufactured in the United States and is a rare find for anyone interested in Civil War history.

It is a great way to connect with the past of a hero of the the Civil War. This item is a great conversation starter and is sure to impress any history enthusiast. From the Estate of Andrew Cowan. Hero of the Battle of Gettysburg at Cemetery Ridge The Copse of Trees. The Bloody Angle infamous for the carnage.

Father of The Blue and Grey Reunions. His heroic deeds are well know and there is a monument at Gettysburg honoring him and his troops. Andrew Cowan was and is still an American hero!

Irrefutable linage of possession I acquired these and many items from the family estate. Cowan's life and history are easy to find his obituary was on the front page of the New York Times. Case material makes these correct for 1872. The Tiffany number 9027 dates this 1888-89 with order number 1861 which is ironic considering the owner.

Monogram is for Andrew Cowan unmistakably his. Condition is very good for age it has a couple of small bumps as you would expect from use for many years. The Tiffany mark of Edward C Moore who served as Tiffany and Company President from 1870 to 1891.

There is lots of significant item from The Civil War but an item tied directly to a honored soldier as Andrew Cowan is quite the rare story! When I acquired it along with many other of Cowan's family estate holding this is special. Please no low ball offers!
