Unusual Civil War soldier tintype in an Acorn & seed tramp art style frame

Unusual Civil War soldier tintype in an Acorn & seed tramp art style frame. Description - An interesting & unique Civil War tintype of a soldier in an unusual & original hand made acorn frame. Looking at the back of the frame each acorn/seed was. Meticulously sewn onto the backing. According to the previous owner the framed photo was made to be draped over the casket of the the deceased soldier at his funeral. I'm not totally convinced of that, but nonetheless an interesting CV era item.

Dimensions - Frame 9 3/4" long x 8 3/4" wide, Photo 4" x 3". Age - 1861 - 65. Condition - The tintype with wear & frame with some losses (broken off pieces) as shown in photos.
