US Civil War Model 1840 Heavy Cavalry S&K Wristbreaker Sword Scabbard

US Civil War Model 1840 Heavy Calvary S&K Wristbreaker Sword Scabbard. The drag is marked "S&K". And has a "D" with a crown over it. The scabbard is solid, no dents or dings, and only has some very light surface rust scattered throughout with a nice even dark patina.

Length of the scabbard is 37 1/2. Was the first official US contract for military sabers.
